The resort route

Prefer a lazy river of rum punch to a private chef? Fifteen minutes up the coast from Tryall sits the Grand Palladium, a big, breezy, all-inclusive resort where dinner, drinks and the beach are all sorted before you’ve unpacked. Book a room, drop your dates in your RSVP, and leave the getting-around to us: we’ll have taxis shuttling Palladium guests to every fête of the weekend.

The resort, in short

The place

A five-star, all-inclusive spread on its own oceanfront point at Lucea, Hanover: white-sand beaches and rocky coves, one of the largest pools in Jamaica, and the Zentropia spa for the morning after. Two sister hotels share the grounds (Grand Palladium Jamaica and Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton); a booking at either gives you the run of both.

The food

Show-cooking buffets plus à la carte rooms spanning Italian, Indian, Japanese, Mexican, Mediterranean and American, plus proper Jamaican jerk at the thatched hut by the water. More than twenty bars, swim-up included. All of it on the house, around the clock.

The practical bit

About 40 minutes (32 km) west of Sangster International (MBJ); the resort can arrange airport transfers. Book directly with the resort or through any travel site; December dates in Jamaica go quickly, so sooner beats later. Then tell us where you’re staying in your RSVP.

Getting to the fêtes, on us

Staying at the Palladium? You’re covered. We’ll have taxis running between the Palladium lobby and Tryall for every event of the weekend: nothing to book, nothing to pay. Just be in the lobby during the windows below; cabs loop until everyone’s across.

Windows are when cabs are looping, not a single departure; miss one and another is a few minutes behind. Saturday’s late window runs as long as the dance floor does.

Rooms, rates and bookings are handled by the resort directly; the Grand Palladium site has every room type and the full fine print. Rather sleep on the estate itself? Pick a Tryall villa. Questions? rsvp@comefetewithus.com  ·  ← back to the celebration
